Like all his other books they are very well written each page flowing seamlessly to the next. This box set included two books each of them with the overall theme of love and forgiveness. I really felt as though I connected to the main character of the first book, Jessica and after I finished it was sad that I didn't really know her. Home for Cthe hristmas is really two books in one. Both are little novellas and revolve around similar themes of love, independence, guilt, fear, forgiveness and love again. The first story "Christmas in King's Gap" is the story of small town girl fleeing to the bright lights of New York looking for love and excitement, which she finds. However when things turn scary and she needs to escape, where is she going to return but to her small home town of King's Gap. This is where she left her boyfriend in the dust, never to look back and worse, left her mother to suffer and die alone without even visiting. She's faced with her own guilt and sadness when she confronts the truth about herself and it just breaks your heart!! But her mother makes her presence known in her tiny, but cozy home which has remained there for Jessica to have as her own. The boyfriend reappears too and he too welcomes her with open arms. So they've forgiven her and now she just has to forgive herself and be happy. I just loved the moral of the story!! I wish it had been longer. ( Reviewed in the United States on November 22, 2013 )

Reading this box set makes me look forward to Christmas this year and just makes me want to fall in love. Well, I must say that I fell in love with these romantic stories! I got hooked right from the start and next thing I know I finished all six books in like 3 days! I highly recommend this book. So now, on to the next book with this author! Separation from her family and an abusive relationship was the story of Sarah's life. Read her story to discover two surprises that awaited her when she moved back home - one good and one bad. Life can turn around and broken hearts can be mended. The negative aspect of this book was that it ended too abruptly. I was left looking for more. Nevertheless Morris it was a good story.
